Tuesday, November 16, 2004 my white christmas i can't wait for christmas! i enjoy all the hassle and bustle. the christmas joy is here and i want to share it, to proclaim to the whole world God's ever so wonderful love. yah! i am gonna haf a christmas baptism. it's so exciting, my heart is pounding rapidly, and i am waiting in anticipation. christmas.. i long for christmas.. was shopping with plankie for christmas cards earlier on, bought 2 boxes. the christmas cards are all so pretty. (:
okie.. now i am all ready to yak bout my great 7days stay in surabaya. day1: woke up super early, bout 8plus. did some last min packing, and we were all ready to pick chrestyupbefore heading to the airport. a big thankew to all our parents for sending us (hui ying, shi han, ham and me) there, and also to puff and dearie. (: u guys are so sweet, especially dearie. i love the prezzie u gave (: oh, and thankew to all those who send take care msgs.. so sweet of u guys. anyway, we had burger king for breakfast and it was time to say bye and depart... tears of joy rolled down my cheek...(as if, heh) it was time to go, yah! we travelled with SQ, while chrest travelled with garuda, and SQ's service was so gd, but the fd was kinda horrible.. yup, in the aeroplane, i realized that stupid, careless me had forgotten to bring my specs, but there was nothing i could do, haha, soo.. i had to wear my contacts for all 7 long days... during the flight, i yaked non-stop and i am so sry shi han for bearing with me.. heh, we finally arrived and it was my 1st time stepping into surabaya, no words were able to describe tt joy. haha. right... it was blazing hot, and i was like a sweltering pig, and the surabaya international airport really sucks... no offence, but it's true. placing an air-con in the immigration hall equals to having no air-con at all...thank God for changi airport. we spotted chresty as she came trudging in like a business woman, well, she was carrying her laptop u see. haha, we took our luggage and went to meet her parents and sis... her parents are such lovely ppl, and her sis is a dear, (: we were conversing in eng, cl, and chrest was also our translator. after arriving at her cozy home, i was all set to... use the toilet, heh, i had been waiting and waiting since arriving at surabaya international airport, yup. after putting our luggage in the room, we proceeded to a typical indo restaurant, the fd was finger-licking gd. yummy yum yum... some of us ordered coconut juice, and it was weird, it was pink, and it din taste like coconut-ish at all... lunch ended and we went home 'it was my home of 7 gd, enjoyable, well-spent days'. yup, as we unpacked, we watched 2 dvds, it was so boring tt i fell aslp. then, it was time to head to supermall, yes, it's super and so so huge, it was a long ride there, and chresty's chauffeur drove us there. thankew to uncle chauffeur. we shopped, shopped, shopped, i am pretty pleased with my buy, 3contact lenses case, (1 each for dearie, moo and me) and 3 ultra cute pom pom purin wrappers, i am relieving my childhood, i used to go crazy over the fat yellow dog.. haha. we had AnW for dinner, the curly fries were great and it was time to head home. we met chrest's uncle, aunt and cute lil cousin, and they were kind enuff to drive us home. nice, sweet indos (: we finally reached home and the day ended with a black-out. it was really cool and exciting, haha, poor hui ying was busy showering. i really thank God tt by then, i had already taken my bath. i would haf screamed if i were the one stuck in the toilet. oh last but not least, i haf to say this, chresty's ceiling is really so beautiful, it was painted with many nice glow in the dark, starssss... (: today is only the beginning...
day2: i shall blog bout it another day, my fingers are tired. time for them to take a rest. ciao (:
